XIX Wrestling: Return of the Mack
June 15th, 2022
We cut immediately to a shot of Jessi Ozborne’s XIX debut, with the final pinfall in the match to crown the inaugural XIX Darkhorse Champion being laid down for Eden Sterling. We then cut to an interview set, with Jessi taking her seat on a stool. She’s clad in a cropped version of her Queens Of Chaos tee, her usual aviator shades and bandana combo, dark skinny jeans, and a pair of all black Vans. She has her newly won Darkhorse Championship belt slung over her shoulder, her attention to it being taken by question from the interviewer off screen.
Interviewer: With the one year anniversary of XIX Wrestling being tonight, what has being in XIX meant to you?
XIX Wrestling: Where You Goin’, City Boy?
August 7th, 2022
We cut to Jessi’s entrance at ‘Where You Goin’, City Boy?’ as we hear Ozborne’s answer in a voiceover.
Jessi Ozborne: I feel like the answer varies from month to month. When I got here, I was still a bit greenish. Had all these hopes and dreams for what I wanted to do, but I don’t think I was good enough to do it when I first started, when I look back.
Footage of the #1 Contenders Fatal 4 Way between Ozborne, Danni Anderson, Diana Bellerose, & Zara Ivory plays, mostly highlighting Ozborne’s big moves throughout the match.
Jessi Ozborne: I guess the one thing that I’ve found to be true is that when you’re a part of such a new brand, you almost feel like you grow with it. You feel like you’re a part of something that is changing and adapting with you rather than around you, if that makes sense? So when I got that first opportunity to be a World Champion here, it felt like XIX was sort of rising like I was.
We cut to that moment now, with the final three count of that Fatal 4 Way match being counted in favor of Ozborne. We cut back to Ozborne, who speaks to the camera now.
Jessi Ozborne: If I had to say one thing about what being in XIX has meant to me, it’s that I don’t think I would be considered as big of a deal as I am now. I will always pinpoint that night in Fort Lauderdale as the one that changed my career forever.
XIX Wrestling: All Signs Point to Lauderdale
September 28th, 2022
We now cut to clips of Ozborne’s match against M.U.D. for the XIX World Championship, mainly of each moment Ozborne gave the champion a run for his money.
Jessi Ozborne: I gave it my all that night, and it showed to everyone in that building. I earned the respect of the World Champion, showed that I could hang in that main event spotlight, and from there the opportunities kept piling up for me. To this day, I am forever grateful to XIX for that. I would’ve been content with not accomplishing a single thing here. But then…
The screen goes black, with the only audio we here is the voices of the referee and the crowd.
ONE…!
TWO…!
THREE!!
XIX Wrestling: Look Alive, Sunshine
October 30th, 2022
We cut to Ozborne’s celebration after winning the Darkhorse Championship at last month's event! Ozborne in near tears as she had looked down at the belt she just won! We cut back to Ozborne in the stool.
Jessi Ozborne: It took a long time, but now I get to represent a company that I’m proud to be a part of as one of its champions. But winning the title was the easy part, now I gotta defend it.
We cut to footage of Hijo de la Muerta’s debut against Peter Gill.
Jessi Ozborne: It’s honestly a fitting first defense. After my entire journey here in XIX, I land in front of someone who’s basically my mirror image. Listen, I’m sure Hijo de la Muerta is a phenomenal competitor. Two matches in and he’s already being put up against someone who’s made a name for herself in the main event spotlight. But that’s the difference between me and him, and it’s what he doesn’t realize will be his undoing in this match.
More footage of Jessi’s fierce offense on display now, showing why she’s the champion.
Jessi Ozborne: I’ve proven myself in the main event spotlight. Been through hell to get where I am. Muerta has no idea what that’s like. It’s why he has to flaunt who he’s been trained by, rather than his own experiences to show why he’s going to win this title tonight. You wanna see the reason I’m gonna win tonight? Look back on the past five months. I’ve proven time and again that when that spotlight test gets put on me, I will pass every goddamn time. To think that I’m gonna fail this early into my reign, against someone who hasn’t had nearly the same experiences I have is a joke, honestly.
Footage of Jessi raising the Darkhorse Championship over her head in the ring plays.
Jessi Ozborne: Don’t get me wrong, Muerta’s definitely got a future ahead of him in this business. Wouldn’t see myself in him if he didn’t. Will it come at my expense though? Not a goddamn chance. Tonight, I’m gonna shut him up, retain this title, and continue to be the champion that XIX deserves. You’re. FUCKING. Welcome.
Jessi leaves her seat, walking off of the interview set as we fade.
