Zara Ivory: Struggle is nothing new to anyone in this business. Truthfully, it’s as if it’s one of the very cornerstones of wrestling. No company starts without struggles, and no competitor starts their journey without them either.
Zara Ivory was in a secluded hallway in the Allstate Arena, pacing in it a little. She ran a hand through her green hair, shaking it through her fingers when she got to the ends.
Zara Ivory: At Look Alive, Sunshine…I struggled after winning the first match in the gauntlet. I struggled with myself after losing to Trinity, but Jessi reminded me…one match does NOT define who I am as a wrestler.
Zara paused her pacing, looking at the camera that was set up in the hallway. She grinned a little as she thought about the evening ahead of her. The Filipino woman had a scheduled match against Josie Wales but then there was the battle royal for the Weekend Warrior Championship that she had immediately declared she would be taking part in. Licking her lips, the woman shrugged a little before continuing.
Zara Ivory: When the card for Famous Last Words was announced, I knew I had a fight ahead of me with Josie Wales. I don’t take away from the woman by any means. I’ve seen what she can do, and I know that tonight won’t be easy. But when I’m done with her, my night isn’t done by a long shot.
The green-haired woman shook her head a little, her loose hair getting in her face some as she did. She brushed the offending strands from her eyes and began pacing the hallway a bit again.
Zara Ivory: The battle royal for the Weekend Warrior Championship called my name from the moment it was announced. I may have missed my change to be the one to go against Marcus tonight, which I’m going to enjoy watching him kick Trinity’s ass and retain his title, but I have another chance to hold gold for XIX.
Zara paused again as she looked towards the camera while she moved up and down the hallway.
Zara Ivory: This is XIX’s 1-year anniversary show, and I plan on making sure that everyone in the audience and watching has a Hell of a show to remember. I’ve been here since the beginning, and tonight, I plan on finally getting some gold. It doesn’t matter who else is in that battle royal with me…the Train Wreck is coming through to take them all out.
Zara smirked and winked at the camera before walking over to it, turning it off and cutting the feed before heading down the hallway.
