Trinity Thompson: It’s been a while, right XIX?
The scene opened with a close-up of one of the youngest competitors in XIX, Trinity Thompson. Sporting a brand new platinum blonde look, the MWE Academy graduate was sitting on some crates backstage.
Trinity Thompson: A lot has changed since the last time I’ve been here, both personally and professionally. I’ve been through some stuff, I still am dealing with the aftermath…
She casted her eyes down to her right arm, covered by a white bandage. Contrary to what people may believe, that’s not to protect herself from some injury nagging her. The sole reason while her arm is wrapped up like that is to hide the Mark Of Nine, the symbol Nine van der Hoek had carved into her arm.
Trinity Thompson: I’m not gonna bore you with details you may already know… I’m just happy I made it here. One week ago my presence in this event was a pipedream. But here I am, ready to main event the Return Of The Mack, ready to take on five juggernauts in the biggest match of my career.
A faint sound coming from the far end of the hallways caused Trinity to suddenly turn in that direction. Imperceptibly, but her hand was shaking. It took her a moment to regain her composure and go back addressing the camera.
Trinity Thompson: Nobody is liking my chances, and why would they? My opponents are coming into this match after running through their opposition in dominant fashion, I barely made it here. They have a lot of experience competing at this level, while I’m the rookie, the underdog.
Thompson jumped off the crate, her left hand reaching for the bandaged part of her right arm.
Trinity Thompson: But like I said, a lot has changed in these past few months. I’m not the little girl fresh off graduation I was when I first started. I ain’t a veteran either, but I definitely learned a lot in the time XIX was on hiatus. I got a few new tricks I can’t wait to show off tonight.
The blonde seemed to regain her confidence after the momentary disbandment.
Trinity Thompson: Bottom line is, I know what my opponents bring to the table and I’m ready for them. Question is, are they ready for me?
