We open up in a backstage locker room seeing a quite focused looking Eden Sterling sitting on a bench, a towel in her hand, playing with it between her fingers. She shakes her head and tosses the towel to the floor, she then runs her hands through her hair.
Eden Sterling: How do you prepare for the unknown? Truly, how? Not one, but two x factors to prepare for. And one changed individual to add on top of things. She seems more hungry for this than I've EVER seen her.
Eden glances up towards the camera and gives it a sort of smile, not quite smug, but one full of mischief.
Eden Sterling: Seems like tall odds, doesn't it? And given my track record in singles title matches, I can see why people would be doubting me. But the way I see it, those losses. Those so close calls just give me more motivation, more fuel to the fire. All the time I've been disappointed in myself and my performances when gold was on the line will all make the moment all the sweeter when the time cimes. Can't have the ups without the downs, right?
Eden shakes her head as she runs her hands together.
Eden Sterling: I'm walking into this match with 3 unknowns, the way I see it. Not just the two mystery opponents I have no way of knowing, but Jessi herself. She's not the same little blonde bright eyed innocent she was months ago when this place opened. She's changed, and no one quite knows how to approach her as of yet.
She chuckles to herself.
Eden Sterling: But I have a strategy. I have something in my mind that I don't believe anyone will be ready for. Like my aunt has said before to me, 'be the mayhem, be unpredictable .' You see, she'd know a thing or two about being a big bad rough and tumble woman ready to throw hands at anyone within reach. She might know what she's talking about. So that's what I'm going to do. Whomever is set in front of me, I'm going to run through. I have the strength and will to stand up to any man or woman and I don't foresee anyone being able to intimidate me. And so, I'll be that agent of chaos. More people in this thing just means more people to toss around. More chances to hurt as many people as possible. And when it's all said and done, I'll show you what being the Darkhorse Champion is all about.
Eden stands up and dusts herself off.
Eden Sterling: I out work anyone in the room regardless of the room, I don't see why that has to change now. They can bring the fight, I'll bring the mayhem, and we'll see how this plays out.
Eden kicks the bench she had been sitting on back against the wall and walks out of the room, leaving us to focus on the knocked over bench before we fade to black.
