”God’s Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash begins to fade following the main event, with the new Darkhorse Champion, Reverend Martin West, having already made his exit. Jessi begins to rise once again, politely turning down the official’s attempts to help her to her feet. She rolls out onto the apron, before requesting a microphone from one of the ringside techs.
Jessi Ozborne: “Well it’s a good thing I called my shot earlier then, isn’t it?”
The crowd lets out a light laugh, with Jessi joining along to give herself one as well.
Jessi Ozborne: “In seriousness, congrats Rev, you got me, you got the Darkhorse Title, you got everything you wanted. Y’know, I said back when I won that title almost four months ago that I was going to make it my mission to be the best Darkhorse Champion this company has ever seen. As only the second one, that isn’t a high bar to clear, but I think I did a pretty damn good job. What do you think, Los Angeles?”
She points her microphone skyward, taking in the large ovation from the fans.
Crowd: “YOU! WERE! AWE-SOME!”

Jessi Ozborne: “But all good things must come to an end, and I’ll admit being down a belt is kinda disparaging. I’m sure ol’ preacher man over there is gonna try to outdo me when it comes to that department. He may succeed at doing so, I know he’s definitely capable. But a part of me doubts it, because as the saying goes, you may be good, you may be great, you may be the best...but you ain’t Jessi Ozborne.”
The crowd cheers on Jessi as she continues to speak.
Jessi Ozborne: “But there’s another saying attached to my name, and it’s important to where my XIX tenure is taking me next: ‘Jessi Ozborne doesn’t make the same mistake twice.’ I’m sure Trinity Thompson is still watching from her couch at home, her hand shaking as she resists the urge to say something about how I failed to prove anything to her. But one thing I’ve had to really learn in recent times, and one thing I need you to understand, is that one defeat doesn’t define me. I’m done running, I’m done quitting, I’m done letting up. It’s time I start getting the fuck back up and fighting harder, until I can’t fight anymore!”
The crowd begins to roar for Jessi, getting behind her and her passionate speech.
Jessi Ozborne: “22 days, Trinity! That’s all you’ve got until the next XIX sh—let’s just give it a name now, how’s about “I’m Not Okay, I Promise”? How do y’all feel about that, L.A.?”
A slight cheer.
Jessi Ozborne: “Great! In all honesty, it doesn’t matter what the show’s called or where it is. The ring’s gonna be the same size, and I’m gonna beat Trinity Thompson in the middle of it and show why I’m the premiere star of XIX Wrestling. That’s not a threat, that’s a promise. And when The Queen promises, The Queen delivers…”
Jessi raises the microphone up for the fans to complete her catchphrase.
Crowd: “YOU’RE! FUCKING! WELCOME!”
”Puppeteer” by Rightfield begins to play as Jessi drops the microphone, hops off the apron, and staggers up the rampway. She turns and raises an arm for the crowd as the show fades to black.
